MoMonyStep 2 - getting the new website up and running.
This is one area where you might think that you need to be a college trained web designer or, at least, have to hire one. You do not even have to have HTML expreience. (this is the design language for web-pages.) You already have the intelligence and ability to create your own website.
You might make mistakes along the way but view these as lessons... and improve !.
With all of the WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) programs available for free on the web hosting platforms, anyone can, with some patience, creathe their own websites.
The most important thing is for you to first have an idea of the general layout you want for your website.
You might spend some time surfing the web, looking at what others have already done. You might just copy the general layout of this site, or any of my other sites that I have done. (so far the sites I have done - or are in the process of doing - are as follows:
I have a few more, but these can give you an Idea as to how simple a website can be and still be functional. (Remember some of these sites are still under construction.)
The main thing to notice is that these do not have to be the magnificently beautiful flash sites with all the bells and wistles... you just want people to go there and to be interested enough to return and at the same time to click on the advertisements, banners, and other links.
If you do want to try to "train" yourself... there are many resources that you can use. (This actually might be a good idea... after you have some sites up and running and feel comfortable that you are on the way to getting some income off of the internet.)

Total Training provides step by step video training for software programs. I use both DreamWeaver and ExpressionWeb software to create websites and have learned both on Total Training. It is easy and thorough.
